Meet the Staff

I am honored to be able to serve as Director, Lead Teacher, and Grant Administrator at Fort Recovery Public School!  I live in Fort Recovery with my husband, Nick, our four daughters: Makayla, Kendall, Alayna & Lexi. I graduated with my bachelors degree from Wright State University in 2009 and have experienced both private and public preschool settings. I am passionate about early childhood education and love creating a classroom where children feel safe, curious, and excited to learn. Watching preschoolers grow in confidence and independence is what inspires me every day!

I am excited to teach preschool in my 9th year at Fort Recovery Public Preschool! It is amazing to watch these kids learn and grow every year. I completed my degree at Wright State University Lake Campus, graduating in 2014. I recently got married in July to my husband, Chase, and we live in Coldwater. My parents are Hubert and Jean Homan, and my younger sister Lindsey is married to Kurt Moellenkamp. I have three nephews—Johnathan, Matthew, and Nathan—who I love spending time with and spoiling. I enjoy riding bikes, watching movies, and spending time with family and friends. I'm looking forward to a fun and exciting year!
